The Berlin Packaging Bruni Glass Design Award, which has been taking place since 1997, is indeed also an opportunity for young product designers to enter the world of the profession, with its hybrid workshop-plus-price nature, aimed at students from the best universities, as it guarantees the finalist projects registration and deposit in the catalog of Berlin Packaging ─ leading company in the supply of glass, plastic and metal packaging ─ with the possibility of placing on the market on request. Moreover, the scale of the initiative, and therefore the potential for interest and customers, has become global: this latest edition has in fact involved students from the Politecnico di Milano for Italy, from the Münster School of Design for Germany, FS Pack Cognac for France, UCSF Universidad Católica de Santa Fe for Argentina and IUC University of Illinois Chicago for the USA.

The absolute winner of this edition is Fuji, from Pham Minh Phuc (Münster School of Design), a shape inspired by the image of a mountain generating peace, tranquility and balance: this fragrance diffuser is also the first prize of the Home fragrances Category. Three further categories encompass the target sectors of Berlin Packaging: Spiritswhere Mesh by Davide Intravaia (Politecnico di Milano) came first; oil and vinegar, with Helen, from Mercedes Luhaces (UCSF) as the winner of this edition; Luhaces also obtained the first prize of the Wine category with Harmony.
