FORT MYERS, Fla. – Seagate Development Group has completed a design-build facility for the first tenant in the Seagate-owned, 40-acre Class A business park at Alico Trade Center – located between Three Oaks Parkway and Oriole Road, just north of Alico Road on I-75 in Fort Myers. Rice Insulation & Glass — a Lee County-based building materials supplier — management and sales team members will move into the 35,000-square-foot warehouse and office space this month.
The 32,000 square foot warehouse with four high dock doors and four ground level doors will store insulation, glass, shower door and shelving materials. Meanwhile, the 3,000 square foot office space includes workstations, desks, as well as training and break rooms. The self-contained building can also accommodate up to 100 vehicles.
Prior to the transfer to Rice Insulation & Glass, Seagate celebrated the completion of the installation with a lunch and facility tour with its extended teams.
“There will be many single-tenant office, flex and industrial properties in the Alico Trade Center over the next few years, but Rice Insulation & Glass will still be the cornerstone of the business park. Their team saw the potential right away, and we couldn’t be happier to deliver it,” said Matt Price, CEO and Partner, Seagate Development Group. “With this site, we are improving efficiency without the typical barriers created in a multi-tenant environment – something business owners desperately need in today’s economic climate and something we can provide as a developer and designer-builder with a history of positive relationships.”
